We are upgrading our API to bring you improved performance and reliability. This may impact your API connection with the markets. Here’s what you need to know:

Timing
The markets will be upgraded in batches. As soon as a new batch is scheduled, this will be announced via email and our status page. We will evaluate the upgrade and the performance of the markets before continuing with the migration of other markets.

The upcoming upgrade is planned for Wednesday, April 23rd, from 05:00 AM to 7:00 AM CET and will impact the following markets:

Impact

• Trading: Trading for the affected markets will be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade.

• Price: The upgrade is done on our systems, there will be no impact on the price of the impacted markets.

• Open orders: Existing open orders for the affected markets will be migrated, provided they meet the following conditions:

  • Orders must be within 50x up or down of the Mid Price at the time of migration.

  • The clientOrderId must be of type UUID.

• Visibility: During the migration you will not be able to see the affected markets in your wallet and on the assets page.

Orders that do not comply with these market protections and trading rules will be canceled and not migrated.

• API connection: you may be affected by the following changes:

  • Existing open orders for the affected markets will be assigned a new orderId, as well as new timestamps for created and updated. If you rely on orderId for your systems, we recommend performing a GetOpenOrders request after the migration to retrieve updated information.

  • Amount values will equal the amountRemaining of your previous order.

What you can do:

• Please review and cancel any open orders you no longer need before the upgrade.
